Rogerio Souza, a master of the Brazilian 7-string guitar and a big name in the Brazilian Choro- and Samba scene, and Matthias Haffner, a specialist and virtuous on the Brazilian pandeiro and other percussion instruments, will teach in this workshop the different styles in Choro and Samba music.

We will learn how to play rhythmical patterns on guitar, cavaquinho and percussion instruments for Maxixe, Choro, Choro sambado, Polca, Samba, Partido Alto or Bossa Nova. Also, we will have a detailed look at some representative songs of each style, analyse the chord progressions, the song structures and learn how to improvise.
