Instrumental lessons
Registration for multiple instruments at the same level is generally not possible, unless by arrangement with the EPM Holanda foundation.
Adults are eligible to enrol as students of the Escola Portátil de Música Holanda. Minors and legally incapacitated adults must provide written permission from their legal representative. This written permission may be evidenced by the (co-)signing of the enrolment form. Enrolment is personal and non-transferable.
Enrolment for lessons and courses is only possible via a fully completed and signed enrolment form.
You will receive a confirmation of your registration by email.
We kindly request that you notify us of any changes to your personal details (such as a change of address, email address or telephone number) as soon as possible. You can do this by email: info@choroschool.com

If the group consists of fewer than 3 people, the price remains the same as for a larger group, but the lesson lasts 30 minutes. The teacher may also decide not to let the course go ahead.
You are enrolling in a course of a predetermined number of weeks, and we trust that you will attend and pay throughout these weeks.

Placement
The teacher has the right to refuse students or not to place them. For a refund of the tuition fees, you can make an appointment with the foundation board.
Refund
Tuition fee refunds may only be issued in the event of moving outside the region (demonstrated by means of a de-registration certificate) or due to prolonged illness (demonstrated by means of a doctor's note) as a result of which it is reasonably no longer possible to attend the lessons. This is at the discretion of the Foundation Board. The Board must be informed of this in writing and in a timely manner. If a tuition fee refund is granted, it will be issued for the remaining lessons, with a deduction of a maximum of €30 for administrative costs.
Further refunds of the registration fee and/or administration costs are not possible.
Students must have their own instrument. The tutors will be happy to advise you on purchasing an instrument. Further information about the options for hiring instruments can be requested from the foundation or your tutor.
Learning resources
The purchase of additional sheet music and other study materials is not included in the course fee. You will, however, receive the necessary sheet music for taking the course. The tutor will be able to advise the student on this.
Trial lessons
You are always welcome to come and watch a class for free once. No private trial lessons are given.
Lesson cancellation
If the teacher is prevented from teaching (due to illness or another important reason), the foundation will look for a suitable replacement. If this is not possible, the teacher concerned will contact you to arrange a make-up lesson, where feasible. If this is also not possible, the tuition fee for that day will be refunded to the student by the foundation.
EPM Holanda Foundation and/or the teacher will inform you of the cancellation of lessons via email or mobile phone.
Student Absence
Liability
The EPM Holanda Foundation acts as an intermediary between the teacher and the course participant and commits to making every effort to carry out the courses and events it organises. However, the EPM Holanda Foundation can never be held responsible for the default of the teacher or the venue, nor for the resulting consequences for quality, continuity, or financial or emotional consequential damage. The EPM Holanda Foundation accepts no liability whatsoever for the theft of or damage to the personal belongings of course participants.

The EPM Holanda Foundation regularly has photo reports made of courses, presentations and performances. The photographs may be used for publicity purposes on the website, course brochure, etc. By signing the registration form, the student, or his or her legal representative, declares agreement with the publication of this material. You can lodge an objection in writing against this automatic agreement. The EPM Holanda Foundation will then make every effort to prevent the publication of this material.

This Privacy Statement applies to all activities (including activities via the website) of the Stichting Escola Portátil de Música Holanda (EPM Holanda). This Privacy Statement provides the most relevant information per subject.
If you use a service of ours, have a business relationship with us, visit our website out of interest, or respond to our social media posts, we need certain data from you. We want to be transparent about the processing of your data, hence this Privacy Statement.
EPM Netherlands handles personal data with care and complies with laws and regulations in the field of the protection of personal data, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

From suppliers, lecturers and business partners as well:

- Business details (Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number)
For what purposes does EPM Holanda process your personal data?
Your personal data that are processed are used by us for business operations, for the proper execution of statutory tasks and duties, and for the performance of the (potential) agreement. The most important processes and associated purposes for which we processed personal data are:
Conclusion and performance of agreements with trainees and clients, relationship management and marketing, evaluation of activities and services,
financial administration, archiving, audit, performance of a contract, complaints procedures
Use of visual material (photos and videos)
EPM Holanda regularly has reports made of courses, lessons, presentations and performances. These photos and films may be used for publicity purposes by EPM Holanda.
Upon registration and agreement to the terms and conditions, we ask for your consent to the capture and use of visual material. It is possible at any time to withdraw the previously signed waiver of liability. You can make this known by email mailto:info@choroschool.com
During events or other public occasions organised by EPM Holanda, or where EPM Holanda makes recordings, we inform those present about the image and sound recordings being made.
Children
Under the GDPR, separate rules apply to the processing of personal data of children (under the age of 16). EPM Holanda only processes personal data of children in order to perform the agreement or visual material for publicity purposes (with consent). EPM Holanda does not enter into agreements with minors.
Giving and withdrawing consent
Your personal data is necessary for the performance of a number of activities. Think of the proper execution of the agreement and its financial processing.
In certain cases we ask for consent (for example, for receiving newsletters, participating in customer satisfaction surveys or creating visual material). We explain for which purposes we use your data. You can always withdraw the given consent or adjust your preferences.
How long is your data stored?
EPM Holanda stores personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The data is not kept longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected. A statutory retention period applies to some personal data.
How can you view, correct or delete your data?
You can send a request for access or rectification to EPM Holanda via mailto:administratie@choroschool.comPlease state clearly that this is a request for access or rectification under the GDPR. You may also request to have your data erased; this is only possible insofar as EPM Holanda can still comply with its legal obligations (such as statutory retention periods) and can still perform the agreement we have entered into with you.
If there are any changes to your personal details (for example due to a house move or because you have a new telephone number), you can notify us of this by email, just as before.
You are also entitled to lodge a complaint about the use of your data with the Information Commissioner's Office.

On behalf of EPM Holanda, third parties may provide certain parts of the service in order to perform an agreement.
